Introduction
Mercedes is a science enthusiast with interdisciplinary research experience. She can score with diplomatic skills and strategic, conceptual thinking. As a surplus, she has excellent communication skills in dealing with different target groups as well as with different professional and conversational cultures.
Joining EPICUR in 2022 as project manager, she is testing and implementing innovative research and networking formats for young scientists on a European level as part of a Horizon2020 funded project. This demonstrates her expertise in the field of international university cooperation.
Before joining EPICUR alliance, she worked as a consultant / digital ambassador for GIZ in northern Ghana, supporting digital transformation processes of SMEs. The most important three things she learned within this job: intercultural competences, resilience and tolerance of ambiguity.
