As a Business & Innovation Consultant, I help companies to build new businesses upon disruptive strategies and customer-centred innovation. In times when startups can rise to international success in only a few years, companies must use the mechanics of disruptive innovation to stay competitive. Today, innovation needs to be more than technological novelties but has to use them to offer desirable solutions to jobs customers want to get done, embedded into a financially sustainable business model. I strongly believe that every important decision in exploring and implementing business ideas should be based on market data and customer feedback. In every aspect of Business Design, it is my task to validate risky assumptions and ensure that all relevant requirements are met, be it on business or customer side. Only with this, a product has the potential to survive the early stages of its lifecycle. With a long and proficient background in User Experience Design and User Research (over 80 interviews and usability testings), I can investigate customer needs myself and consult teams on prototyping and MVP development. Therefore, my involvement does not end with creating a validated business model but continues in accompanying and mentoring teams during lean and agile product implementations until market launch. With several years of experience in facilitating workshops and mentoring students and junior colleagues, I find it easy to collaborate with teams of diverse backgrounds, expertise-wise as well as personality-wise. There is no better way than to work with a multi-disciplinary group of people if you want to get a holistic view of the issue you try to solve.
