Technical co-founder gesucht für a dementia start-up

We’re looking for a technical co-founder with experience in machine learning, in particular natural language processing (NLP).

Besides technical skills, managerial and leadership experience are a plus, as you will be tasked with hiring and leading the development team.

Rather than an employee, we’re looking for someone who wants to join us on the journey to build a company from the ground up. You will become one of the co-founders and have equal participation in our decision-making process.

We are planning to raise once the MVP has launched. Before then this role will be paid in equity. Subject to eligibility (must be Berlin-based), we can also discuss options of joining an accelerator alongside other members of the team, which provides a living cost subsidy of €2,000/month.

At Alois, we're on a mission to build a second brain for people with mild cognitive impairment and early stages of dementia.

Using a voice interface and accessible design, our product, Alois, is a cross between a personal assistant and a memory bank, allowing users to store and retrieve memories in a way that mimics natural human interaction.

Just like a hearing aid for people with hearing loss, Alois will serve as a mental aid, helping people with memory loss to continue living their life to the fullest and reduce their reliance on others.
